Russian veterans have compiled a short set of recommendations for new recruits going to Ukraine. Interesting are their recommendations regarding the AK. This really starts at #34 but #40 is the heart of the matter. They recommend no optics, no aftermarket rails, no fancy muzzle devices, no cleaning with automotive products.
