New guy here coming with a question about vintage AKs. A frined of a friend of a friend sent the word out that he has a vintage AK late 40s hed like to sell and me being a sucker for something older than me Im thinking of getting it. Now is it worth even trying to get that thing in proper shape to shoot with it or keep it for deciration?

it would probably be fine as long as you do things right but those are generally collector items and look good restored not to be used, at least that's what I think
