Oh i had that for ages and loved it. Both my kids started shooting with it. Now that you mentioned it I'm sad I sold itMine was a Marlin Model 60. It definitely wasn't as refined as your Mark II, but it taught me everything I needed to know about basic marksmanship before I ever touched a centerfire

Sounds like you had funMan, I wish I started on a Mark II! My first experience was a 12 gauge Remington 870 with my uncle. I was way too small for it, and it nearly knocked me into the next county.
