Your first weapon?

I'm going to assume that an AK wasn't the first weapon you ever held in your hands, so which one was it? Mine was a Ruger Mark 2, which I'm sure most consider it to be the golden standard for beginers

I got my first weapon from my granddad. He gave me a .410 shotgun. I used to learn to hunt with that back in the day

Mine was a Marlin Model 60. It definitely wasn't as refined as your Mark II, but it taught me everything I needed to know about basic marksmanship before I ever touched a centerfire

Man, I wish I started on a Mark II! My first experience was a 12 gauge Remington 870 with my uncle. I was way too small for it, and it nearly knocked me into the next county.

you must be me! had 2 of those and sold them, the worst part was that I didn't even need to do that. A friend of a friend asked about them and I offered so now they're gone
